Gateway Georgia Avenue Revitalization Corporation is a Federally chartered, 501 (c) 3 non-profit community development corporation.

We are a model interjurisdictional entity. We represent the spirit of partnership between an urban core city and an adjacent suburban community.

Since 1998, we have been funded by both District of Columbia and Montgomery County, Maryland govenments as well as by major D.C. metropolitan area stakeholders such as Pepco, Citibank, and Verizon, Inc.

WHAT WE DO

Gateway-Georgia Avenue specializes in forging public-private partnerships in the interest of revitalizing the Georgia Avenue gateway between District of Columbia and Montgomery County, Maryland.

We provide a menu of services on behalf of the District of Columbia, Montgomery County, and the State of Maryland. These include:

Gateway-Georgia Avenue Revitalization Corporation is a sister organizaton to the Gateway Coalition, an interjurisdictional organization of civic, business, and spiritual organizations founded in 1994 to promote interjurisdictional understanding and creative urban revitalization strategies.
