Blair Park is a 14.5 acre urban park created from the historic estate
of the Blair Family. The park features more than 100 historic white
oaks and an ante-bellum (ca.1845) mansion. The park provides several
acres of space for passive recreation as well as active athletic
use. Montgomery College will enhance the park with a cultural arts
center constructed at the northeastern corner in 2004. In 2002 the
Montgomery County Parks Department will undertake a 2 million dollar
renovation of the park lands.
