The Flagship of military medical facilities, Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) is the Headquarters of the Defense and Veterans Head Injury Program and represents the single largest Department of Defense (DoD) element in the program. Every President since William Howard Taft has either been a patient at this prestigious facility or has visited active duty personnel, veterans or other distinguished individuals hospitalized in its wards.

The 25 acre facility is located at 6900 Georgia Avenue, Washington D.C. The Walter Reed Army Medical Center employs approximately 4600 personel and thousands of visitors enter the campus daily.
